Small town restaurant. Burgers were great. Prices were very reasonable. We would go back
Stopped in on a whim from out of town. Had some time between volleyball games in Grand Meadow. Google didn't disappoint! Breakfast was amazing! Omelet was packed to the gills and the hashbrowns were spot on, not too crispy, not too mushy. Server was amazing, personable, and polite. Seems like the "regulars" like her as well. The light hearted banter with them as they left was pleasing to the ears. She was alone on a Sunday and she absolutley ROCKED it! THIS is how small diners make it. Big Bob's is an absolute gem! Definately worth the drive and will ABSOLUTELY be back.
Great place to eat and very reasonable compared to the big cities.
Stopped on way home from Mayo clinic twice. Great food, service & very friendly. Very reasonable prices. Had omelets very good. Highly recommend. Will definitely stop again.
Bring your appetite and CASH - no credit/debit cards &/or NON-local checks taken - for some delicious food in a down home "homey" environment in this little Spring Valley MN eatery with the same name in the window Just off Highway 63 & in the "downtown business district", this spot offers great, "home cooked", large portions (ONE pancake is 10"round!!), & real, old fashioned, customer service, all at friendly prices. The place looks more like a home kitchen than a place of business, and a closer look at "pictures" on the wall reveal most are well made jigsaw puzzles. If you have the time, patience, and interest, you can even work on their current puzzle while waiting for your food The staff is super kind & friendly, and will frequently check on you. This place is definitely worth the detour! But plan to come early, because they close at 1:00, & noon on Sundays! Hey, THEY deserve a life, too! Lol!
I am a frequent Wednesday customer. There is no better value for great food and exceptional service.
Great little small town place for breakfest. Busy place could maybe used another waitress. She was literally running trying to keep up... food was homemade. Will go back again when in town
Great diner! Fast service, friendly people and great breakfast!
